Subject: Charles J Clark Passing

I would like to report the passing of my Father Major Charles J. Clark who was a member of the 55th. from 1965 to 1970. Charles was an Aircraft commander and stand eval. Charles was the first pilot to land an RC-135 at Offut Air Force Base. Charles was born in Searsport Maine on January 28th 1923 and passed away in Searsport on April 12 2008. Charles is survived by His wife of 61 years Carolyn P. Clark who resides in Searsport and Stuart FL. She can be reached at P.O. Box 123 Searsport, ME. 04974. Major Clark received two DFC's and Four Air Medals in his career while piloting B-17's KC-97's and KC-135's and the RC-135.
