Mary K. Brown KINGMAN - Mary Kathryn Brown, 61, died May 6, 2009, at Kingman Community Hospital. She was born April 17, 1948, at Honey Grove, Texas, the daughter of Robert "Bob" and Eudora Tilson Beste. A longtime resident of Kingman, she was retired from PGI, Kingman. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Kingman. On Nov. 3, 1994, she married Leland Brown at Kingman. Other survivors include: sons, Robert and Steve Mertens; daughter, Wendy Mertens; mother and step-father, Eudora and Charles Crouch; brothers, Leroy and Bill Beste; sister, Sandra Heldenbrand; step-sons, Mike, Chris and Jeff Brown; step-sisters, Pam Krehbiel and Jackie Vierthaler; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father Bob in 2004. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Visitation with the family will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Family committal services will be held at a later date at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman. Memorials may be made with the Kingman County Humane Society and Kingman Area Ministerial Alliance (KAMI) in care of the funeral home. |
