I have just read about the 55 SRW reunion in MOAA magazine.

I was a member of the 55th for a short time in 1972-73 when I ran the Logistics Support Mission (Mini SAC Airline). Billy Skipworth was commander of the 2nd ACCS back then and my first association with him was at CEG at Barksdale. I often did CEG evaluations of the SAC reconnaissance system with Horace Martineau and the CEG reconnaissance team at CEG.

I have lost contact with Marty and I am wondering if you have any info as to his whereabouts?

All the best to you in the New Year,

 John,
I'll pass along your email to some of the "in the know" bunch to see if we can  get a response for you.  I too, was a member of the 1st Combat Evaluation Group (CEVG) at Barksdale in the late 80s & early 90s.  It's a small world sometimes.

Thanks for thinking of us and give me a holler if we can do anything for you like additional information on the 55th SRWA, or possibly information on membership to the 55th SRW Association, or information about our 2008 Reunion being held in Washington, D.C. this May  If you are curious and like surfing the internet, the 55th SRW Association website can be found at www.55srwa.org --
plenty of information can be found there as well.

If I hear back on someone having information on Horace "Marty" Matineau and other members of the recce team at CEG around the same time frame.
R.J. Mac
