Jim, Max, Jim,

Yes, Bill Kane was a 55th RB-47 crewmember on the legendary "Operation Homerun" overflights of the Soviet Union in Spring of 1956 from Thule. As was Burt Barrett. That was just before the first U-2 overflights started.
