I read Reggie Urschler's elequent letter to Mr. Gordon Stevenson advising him of his retirement as pilot of P-51 Gunfighter.  It was not because of a diminished interest or of pilot skill, but because General Urschler has reached the young age of 65.  I have attended airshows that featured the Gunfighter and was always in awe of Reggie's aero professionalism and very entertaining precision flying of the Mustang.  It was an honor to have served under him in the USAF and wish him well in his continued endeavors in advancing the interest of flight to the upcoming generation of American aviators.
