General Officer Announcements

Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President
has made the following nominations:

Air Force Col. Mark A. Atkinson has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the director, logistics,
installations and mission support, Headquarters Air Education and
Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.

Air Force Col. Mark A. Barrett has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the executive officer, Air Force vice
chief of staff, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Brian T. Bishop has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the deputy director, Air Force
concept of operations, deputy chief of staff, Air, Space and Information
Operations, plans and requirements, Headquarters U.S. Air Force,
Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Michael R. Boera has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the commander, 613th Air and Space
Operations Center, Pacific Air Forces, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Air Force Col. Norman J. Brozenick Jr. has been nominated to the grade
of brigadier general while serving as the commander, 1st Special
Operations Wing, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlbut Field,
Fla.

Air Force Col. Cathy C. Clothier has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the director, Air Force General
Officer Management, deputy chief of staff, manpower and personnel,
Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. David A. Cotton has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the director, command, control,
communications and computer systems, J-6 U.S. Joint Forces Command,
Norfolk Naval Air Station, Va.

Air Force Col. Sharon K. G. Dunbar has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the director, manpower and personnel,
Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

Air Force Col. Barbara J. Faulkenberry has been nominated to the grade
of brigadier general while serving as the deputy director, strategic
plans, requirements and programs, Headquarters Air Mobility Command,
Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

Air Force Col. Larry K. Grundhauser has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the vice director, intelligence, J-2,
Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Garrett Harencak has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the deputy director, requirements,
Headquarters Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Va.

Air Force Col. James M. Holmes has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the division chief, Checkmate, deputy
chief of staff, air, space and information operations, plans and
requirements, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Dave C. Howe has been nominated to the grade of brigadier
general while serving as the deputy director, installations and mission
support and the civil engineer, Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe,
Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

Air Force Col. James J. Jones has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the commander, 55th Wing, Air Combat
Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb.

Air Force Col. Michael A. Keltz has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the commander, 607th Air Operations
Center, Pacific Air Forces, Osan Air Base, South Korea.

Air Force Col. Frederick H. Martin has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the commander, 305th Air Mobility
Wing, Air Mobility Command, McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.

Air Force Col. Wendy M. Masiello has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the associate deputy assistant
secretary of contracting, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air
Force, Acquisition, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Robert P. Otto has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the assistant deputy director, global
operations, J-39, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Leonard A. Patrick has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the director, installations and
mission support, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force
Base, Ill.

Air Force Col. Bradley R. Pray has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the special assistant to the
commander, U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander, Europe,
Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, Belgium.

Air Force Col. Lori J. Robinson has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the chief, Air Force House Liaison
Office, House of Representatives, Secretary of the Air Force Legislative

Air Force Col. Anthony J. Rock has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the commander, 366th Fighter Wing,

Air Force Col. Jay G. Santee has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the commander, 21st Space Wing, Air
Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.

Air Force Col. Rowayne A. Schatz Jr. has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the executive officer to the
commander, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

Air Force Col. Steven J. Spano has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the director, communications and
information, Headquarters U.S Air Forces in Europe, Ramstein Air Base,
Germany.

Air Force Col. Thomas L. Tinsley has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the executive officer to the Air
Force chief of staff, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington,
D.C.

Air Force Col. Jack Weinstein has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the director, strategic plans,
programs, analyses, assessments and lessons learned, Headquarters Air
Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.

Air Force Col. Stephen W. Wilson has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the deputy director, intelligence and
air, space and information operations for flying training, Headquarters
Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.

Air Force Col. Margaret H. Woodward has been nominated to the grade of
brigadier general while serving as the commander, 89th Airlift Wing, Air
