Hello!  Just a little info for your group incase anyone is interested.
Having being involved with the RB&B47s you must have some folks that had
time on the old air tanker the KC97s or C97s. Well this note is just
about that type aircraft & HER history LOG.  Our group of volunteers &
organization is called the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation, located
out of Toms River NJ. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer, private
membership Corporation dedicated to preserving 2 classic proptransports
in flying condition, our beautiful C54 Skymaster & now our latest
project, getting our Boeing C97G back into the skies once again.  When
complete, SHE will become a tribute to the Cold War yrs, as a History
Exhibit Flying Museum
!  HER 2 decks will display many showcases &
memorabilia & tell the story over 40yrs of the Cold war times.  See us
at www.spiritoffreedom.org    Our C97G is at the big hangar at Floyd
Bennett Field in Brooklyn NY, our base of Operations.    Please feel
free to contact me any time about our project with the big STRAT.  Kind
regards,  Jim Reed / Dir&Flightcrew member/ BAHF  (retired NCO NJANG 93)
