ANOTHER TALE OF THE BELL

ONE MORE HOOVER EDIFICEImmediately after the 55th Wing Birthday Ball, near midnight on 1 April last, nefarious villains bell napped the 55th ceremonial bell and spirited it away for purposes unknown until the summer. Now another chapter in the artifact's travels is written.

Capts Joey Lewis and Zach StevensOn 21 July at the 343rsRS crew lounge in Bldg 497 at Offutt, the bell was returned at a ceremony which coincided with the naming of the area as "Hoover Lounge".
Himself and 343rd/CC LtCol Brian "Tinger"Tingerstad.Several members of the Omaha caucus of the Association were invited to witness both events. Max Moore remarked that buildings and such are usually named after the dead and the near-dead, so with Robb Hoover now honored by having two rooms bear his name, that he should have his affairs in order just in case.
