On March 26, 2005, Roy H. Lewis (former Sgt.) & Tony Longo (former Sgt.) got together at the Olive Garden in Danbury, Connecticut for a "mini reunion".
We met when we were both on TDY with the 55th. at Kadena AFB in the summer of 1969. ( Burning Pipe? & Special Collection ?) We were with the 55th. AMS Avionics Maintenance Squadron.
Tony maintained the radio systems and I maintained the ASN-53 / LN7C Astro Inertial Nav . systems. Last year I tracked Tony down down and we decided to have a meal together and reminisce "old times".
We are going to do it again in the March / April 2006 time frame and anybody in the area is welcome to join us. We would really like to meet up with some of the personel who were in Okinawa with us during that time. ( it was more fun then "Woodstock" at times. ) Or crews who flew from there in the RC-135C's.
Date & location are flexible.
