Subject: Obit of Lt. Col Henry ( Hank ) Monjar

It is with regret that I inform You of the sudden death of Henry ( Hank ) Monjar on August 15 th.
Hank was a long time EWO. He and I were members of the 311 th Rcn. Wg., 324 th Sqdn at McDill in 1946, Flying B-17's. Hank was one of those engaged in the development of the airborn LORAN navigation systems.
Hank was selected to represent the Air Force at the Boeing Factory in the development of the RB-50 Electronic Warfare Systems.
A member of my early RB-50 crew, we were close and constant friends for almost 50 years. He will be greatly missed.
