"2nd ACCS In-Flight Passenger Service"

2nd ACCS In-Flight Passenger Service
One of the most unusual patches if you ask me is that of the 2nd ACCS In Flight Passenger Service and actually the only USAF patch in my collection which was worn by airborne food service specialists. According Major Greg Ogletree's ASMIC Article in the Trading Post issue of Summer 1994, pages 43 - 53, this patch was worn by the airborne food service specialists (cook's) on the left shoulder. It was designed by Sgt Evan Mills in 1985 and it's wear was discontinued when the LOOKING GLASS ceased round-the-clock operations in 1990 and the In-Flight Passenger Service branch of the 2nd ACCS was disbanded at that time. again, my thanks to Greg Ogletree for his in-depth article. The patch is part of Andy Hunold's personal collection.

Patch information submitted by Andy Hunold, MSgt (GEAF) Ret.
