"343rd SRS"
343rd Strategic Reconnaissance Squadron
illustrated here
is a variation to the already shown emblem - this one is U.S. made, fully
embroidered but doesn't show the the AFOUA ribbon on the patch. If you compare
it to the already shown emblem, it is much more detailed. For information
covering the 343rd SRS/RS please see elsewhere in this gallery. The illustrated
patch comes out of the collection of Andreas Hunold (MSgt, GEAF, ret.).

"343rd SRS"
343rd Strategic Reconnaissance Squadron
another variation
shows the fully embroidered patch with the AFOUA ribbon - again, this particular
one is U.S. made and is much more detailed. If you compare both U.S. made
patches you can see a difference in the crow's eyes if you look careful! For
information covering the 343rd SRS/RS please see elsewhere in this gallery. The
illustrated patch comes out of the collection of Andreas Hunold (MSgt, GEAF,

"343rd SRS"
Another variation - 343rd SRS "red eyed" raven
shows a "red eyed" hefty raven
with the AFOUA ribbon's red and blue fields as equal width - which should not
be. Additionally this style patch is not fully embroidered. There are other
styles of this patch which feature the correct AFOUA ribbon as well as are fully
embroidered. (Source: Major Ogletree's article ASMIC TRADING POST Spring 1995).
Patch is from MSgt Andy Hunold's collection.
