"RC-135 100+ Missions"

RC-135 100+ MISSIONS WORLDWIDE RECONNAISSANCE
Style 1 shows a shield shaped patch indicating that the wearer has accumulated 100 missions but didn't stop there and was (or is) still piling up missions. According to Maj Greg Ogletree's TRADING POST Spring 1995 article, those "Plus" patches where made in all denominations, such as 150+, 200+, 350+, and one even said "LOTS OF MISSIONS RC-135", however the Andy Hunold has only those two examples shown in his collection but is inviting any readers to get in touch with him should they have similar missions patches possibly even available for trade or sale to Andy Hunold. Information has been taken from Major Greg Ogletree's article while the patch itself is courtesy of MSgt Andreas Hunold's (GEAF Ret) personal collection.

Style 2 shows the same sized and colored patch but adding a third line below the RC-135 and mentioning "M/V/U/W" indicating that the wearer accumulated the 100+ missions while flying different models of the RC-135 aircraft family. Information has been taken from Major Greg Ogletree's article while the patch itself is courtesy of MSgt Andreas Hunold's (GEAF Ret) personal collection.
