Life Membership –
Subsequent to Don Griffin stepping down as the
Association webmaster in late May 2007 in accordance with the Association
Bylaw 7.4 stating, “Life Membership is granted by the BoD to individuals who
have made very special contributions in service or otherwise to the
Association. No dues required”, President Jim Thomas nominated
Grif established the Association home page in September 1996, maintained and upgrade it through out his tenure. It became a most valuable medium for communication to the membership. He also has made many other significant contributions to the Association with his wise and often prudent counsel as a Director.
The nomination was done in an e-mail sent to the Board of Directors on 4 June asking for concurring votes. Answers through e-mails, phone calls and personal contact from BoD members 4-8 June were unanimous in their approval.
President Thomas announced the results in an e-mail to the BoD 25 June 2007 and declared the action as approved.
